Dua Lipa will headline the 2018 UEFA Champions League opening ceremony
The Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool will be kick started by award-winning pop star Dua Lipa
Kiev's Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex in Ukraine will be hosting Real Madrid and Liverpool on 26 May.
With the build up getting closer, Pepsi announced on 7 May that Dua Lipa will be opening the Champions League final, which is due to be the most viewed football event of the year so far.
The multi-award winning popstar holds the record for the youngest music artist to reach one billion YouTube views, and is also the highest nominated female in Brit Award history.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, the UEFA Events SA Marketing Director, stated, "We are excited to welcome Dua Lipa to Kyiv. Her energy will provide the crowd with the perfect performance just moments before the ultimate match in European club football kicks off.
