Dua Lipa has been working with Pharrell, Tove Lo, and more on her new album
Dua Lipa has been recording her new album with Pharrell, Tove Lo, and more.
After confirming that she had been in the studio with legend Nile Rodgers earlier this year, Dua Lipa has also confirmed that she's been working with the likes of Pharrell, Tove Lo, and Diplo on her follow up to her 2017 self-titled debut record.
Speaking to BBC at the Nordoff Robins' Silver Clef Awards, Dua Lipa also revealed that her next album is "coming soon", and described it as feeling like a "dancercise class".
"It's been a long time coming so I'm super happy," Dua Lipa added. "I'm nervous. It feels like it's happening all over again."
She also revealed that she wants the new record to be a safe space for her fans and listeners, "With the music, it's also about ensuring they have a safe space, a place where they can come and listen to the music and hang out. That's what's really important to me."
Her last single, "Swan Song", from the Alita: Battle Angel movie, dropped back in January.
