Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, Mabel and more to take part in BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge charity single
BBC Radio 1 have announced a huge Live Lounge charity single being released this week, and it'll feature Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, Mabel, and many others.
This Thursday (23 April), BBC Radio 1 are releasing a Live Lounge charity single and are donating all proceeds to Children in Need and Comic Relief.
Coldplay's Chris Martin, Rita Ora, AJ Tracey, Bastille, Sigrid, Sam Fender, Ellie Goulding, Jess Glynne, Paloma Faith, Celeste, Dermot Kennedy, and others will also contribute to the charity single, which is a cover of Foo Fighters' hit single "Times Like These".
The Stay Home Live Lounge will include performances from artists that are recorded in their own homes. The track will be produced by Fraser T Smith, who is choosing to utilise pots, pans and acoustic guitars for the recording.
According to BBC, Dua Lipa expressed that she is "so proud" to be one of the artists involved, and Ellie Goulding said she was "honoured to join such a great lineup".
International funds raised from the Live Lounge single will be donated to WHO's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
