Du Blonde unveils new single "Hunter" ahead of debut LP Welcome Back To Milk
Du Blonde has shared her latest offcut from upcoming record, Welcome Back To Milk. It's called "Hunter" and it showcases a different side to Du Blonde.
Far from the mad rock of "Black Flag" or "Mind Is On My Mind", it sees the newly rebranded Beth Jeans Houghton.
Speaking about the ballroom ballad, Du Blonde says that "it was one of those songs that just kind of pours out, it wasn't hard to write. I was listening to a lot of Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin at the time and I was really into their way of putting a lot of honesty and emotion into their songs."
Welcome Back To Milk is out via Mute on 18 May.
