Du Blonde goes for a trippy walkabout in new "Black Flag" video
Du Blonde has shared her new music video for debut single "Black Flag", and it sees her blur reality in the American South West.
Formerly known as Beth Jeans Houghton, Du Blonde is set to release her debut album - Welcome Back To Milk - next month, with "Black Flag" at the vanguard of her new sound. Speaking about the video, she said:
"We filmed the footage in 40 degree heat while we played Beyonce out of the car stereo. A lot of the record is written about situations and people in Los Angeles so it made sense to incorporate the scenery in which a lot of those stories played out."
The track was produced by Bad Seed and Grinderman member Jim Sclavunos. Houghton has directed and edited the video herself.
