Dry Cleaning announce second album with new single "Don't Press Me"
Dry Cleaning are back with news of their second album Stumpwork, and have shared new single "Don't Press Me" as the lead outing.
"Don't Press Me" is the band's first new material since their July 2021 double a-side single "Bug Eggs" / "Tony Speaks!", and lands with an animated video by Peter Millard.
Lead vocalist Florence Shaw said of the new single, "The words in the chorus came about because I was trying to write a song to sing to my own brain, "You are always fighting me / You are always stressing me out"."
Stumpwork will follow Dry Cleaning's 2021 debut album New Long Leg, and was recorded in rural Wales in late 2021 with producer John Parish and engineer Joe Jones.
