Dream Wife release mixtape of female and non-binary artists that supported them on tour
Dream Wife have dropped a new mixtape that features all the female and non-binary artists that supported them on their UK tour.
Last year, Dream Wife launched an open call to female and non-binary bands and musicians to support them on their UK tour.
Having completed the tour, Dream Wife have put together a seven-track mixtape using vocal stems and live recordings from the tour. Dream Wife's Alice Go produced the mixtape.
Alice Go says of the mixtape, "Our voices together can help make change and encourage other womxn and NB folk to pick up an instrument or say what they have to say, through music. Together we can continue to foster a message of solidarity and support."
The mixtape is up for sale for £5 on Bandcamp, with proceeds being donated to Girls Rock London (GRL!), a music project that puts on rock camps all over the world and hopes to achieve gender equality in the music industry.
