Drake's new album Views From The 6 now has a release date
Over the weekend Drake revealed that he will be releasing his long-awaited new record Views From The 6 later this month.
The Toronto rapper had already confirmed an April release window, but now the date has been officially firmed up: the 29th. Speaking on his Beats 1 OVO Sound show, Drake told the world of his release date, with Apple swiftly adding that it'll be an Apple Music exclusive.
Last week Drake dropped "Pop Style" - a collab with The Throne, aka Kanye West and Jay Z - and "One Dance". They arrived on the back of a series of tracks (including a joint effort with Popcaan) that may or may not appear on the final cut of Views From The 6.
The past few months have seen lots of activity from Drake, who recently signed to Grime label Boy Better Know, teamed up with Rihanna on "Work", and set the Internet ablaze with "Hotline Bling".
Views From The 6 is due out 29 April. It follows last year's If You're Reading This It's Too Late.
