Drake is returning with new music tonight
Drake is returning with new music tonight after announcing via socials that Scary Hours 2 will be landing at midnight (5 March).
Back in January Drake confirmed that his Certified Lover Boy album was no longer dropping that month so he could focus on recovering from a recent surgery.
The album is still landing this year, and although it's yet to get a release date, DJ Akademiks has been providing Drake updates over the past week, and revealed on Monday (1 March) that Drake would probably "drop something this week."
It appears that Akademiks' word was right, as Drake announced earlier today (4 March) that he's returning with new music at midnight tonight (5 March). Although he didn't share what is dropping in the caption, he shared an image of something called Scary Hours with two diamond-shaped gems underneath, a potential hint that it could be Scary Hours 2, the follow up to 2018's Scary Hours EP that featured "God's Plan" and "Diplomatic Immunity".

It might also be a song called "Scary Hours", but as Drake released Scary Hours a few months before his Scorpion album landed, it looks more likely that it could be a follow up EP.
Last week DJ Akademiks shared an update on Certified Lover Boy during a livestream. He said, "Drake told me that it's going to be dropping before April so he's not waiting until summer to drop his shit. I don't wanna say before April... April or before. But the reason why I'm saying it's not dropping tonight, as in Thursday night, is because he's spent so much time on this project that he's not trying to put out a surprise project. He's gonna let people know at least a week before, bro."
