Dr. Dre to feature on Kendrick Lamar's new album
The last we heard about Kendrick Lamar’s new album, it was due in September. Whether that’s still the case, we’re not entirely sure. What we do know though, is that Dr. Dre will helm the release once again.
Speaking at Kube 93’s Summer Jam, Lamar revealed that - despite his recent Apple windfall - Dre still has his heart in music.
“Dre is focused like he always been,” Lamar is quoted as saying. “He focused on music, man. One thing about Dre, you can’t take the music away. No matter how much money he has, he’s always gonna be right there in that studio. That’s before the deal, after the deal. He’s always locked in there. That’s something that I know personally.”
Lamar’s upcoming new LP will be the follow-up to 2012’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.
