Doves have finally returned with their comeback track "Carousels" - their first new single in over a decade.
Now that their countdown clock has reached zero, Doves have released their first new track in 11 years - "Carousels".
Drummer and vocalist Andy Williams says of their comeback single, "It’s a reminiscence of the times that we’d go to places like North Wales on holiday as kids. Places where you had your first experience of sound systems and music being played really loud."
Their new track is produced by Doves themselves, and is engineered by Dan Austin and mixed by Craig Silvey. The band are yet to follow up their 2009 album Kingdom of Rust.
Doves' "Carousels" single is out now on Virgin EMI.
