Donald Glover delivers first teaser trailer for season three of Atlanta
Donald Glover has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the long-awaited third season of his Atlanta TV series.
Show creator Glover shared a one-minute teaser trailer for the third season of Atlanta via gilga.com last night (31 October). The site only shows the Atlanta teaser between 8pm and 3am GMT, and lists Edgware, England as the location.
The new teaser is soundtracked by Sun Ra's "It’s After The End of the World", and closes with a vague release date of "2022".
The final episode of Atlanta season two aired in May 2018, and in November last year Glover wrote on Twitter that the third and fourth seasons of the show are "going to be some of the best television ever made. Sopranos only ones who can touch us."
Back in September, it was reported that Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge was no longer involved with Amazon's upcoming Mr. & Mrs. Smith series starring Glover. The series was expected to be executive produced by Glover and Waller-Bridge, and was due for release next year.
