Dominic Fike will star in season two of Euphoria
Dominic Fike has revealed that he'll star in the second season of HBO's Euphoria, as Rue and Jules' "homie".
Last Friday (6 August) Dominic Fike spoke to Variety about his busy schedule, revealing that he's been on the set of Euphoria season two, as well as working on a new album.
According to Fike, he'll appear in the new season of Euphoria as a "homie" that hangs around with Rue and Jules (played by Zendaya and Hunter Schafer). Fike described them as, "the nicest people ever".
He added, "They’re both really funny. We were doing a scene the other day and had to keep redoing it because we just couldn’t stop laughing."
Speaking about his character, Fike explained, "I don’t have to do much acting. He’s exactly like me. It’s shit I would say and shit I would do."
Fike described his acting as a "second career", and also confirmed that since getting a role in Euphoria, he's already had more auditions.
He also spoke about his new music, and revealed he's been working on a new album that will follow his 2020 debut, What Could Possibly Go Wrong? Fike confirmed that there'll be more rapping and will be less "overproduced" than his debut.
Fike explainned, "I felt like I had too many producers in the room and too many people telling me what was right and what was wrong. Now it’s just my mind, similar to how I made Don’t Forget About Me, Demos. There were no other people in the room to tell me anything, and I’m not sending this music to other people to give me fucking opinions on it."
