Dolly Parton has announced her debut novel Run, Rose, Run, which is co-written with James Patterson and will be released alongside a new album inspired by the novel next year.
Country icon Dolly Parton will rellease her first novel next year with an album of the same name that is based on the book's "characters and situations".
The novel, titled Run, Rose, Run, was co-written with bestselling author James Patterson, and according to the book description, it's a "thriller about a young singer-songwriter on the rise and on the run, and determined to do whatever it takes to survive."
Parton wrote of the novel and album of the same name on Twitter, "I cannot be more excited about the release of my very first novel #RunRoseRun with James Patterson. I also have a new CD to go along with the book, based on its characters and situations. I hope you enjoy the book and the songs as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together."
