Django Django announce new album Born Under Saturn
Django Django have confirmed the release of new album Born Under Saturn, set for release this Spring.
It will follow 2012's lauded self-titled debut.
Speaking about the evolved expectations, the band's Dave Maclean (drums), said:
“We built up momentum more than expectation... we were keen to get back to making music. Going from a lo-fi bedroom record, sitting in your flat in your pjyamas, to playing to huge crowds, you learn a lot. We thought we’d sell to little pockets of people and set up our own live shows in art spaces... we never thought it would end up the way it did. Once that happens, you have to keep pushing. You can’t sit still.”
Born Under Saturn is due 4 May via Because.
The band will also be touring the UK in May to support the release. Tickets are available from here tomorrow (17 February) at 9am, or they will be on general sale at 9am on Friday (19 February).
