DJ Khaled pulls out of Wireless Festival, Drake shows up instead
DJ Khaled was supposed to headline Wireless Festival on the Sunday, but pulled out due to a "scheduling conflict". Instead Drake swooped in to save the day with a 30-minute surprise set.
Wireless Festival brought all the biggest DJs and rappers from the UK and US. Sunday night's headliner was supposed to be DJ Khaled. The iconic DJ had to pull out due to a "scheduling conflict". Wireless Festival announced the reasoning on Twitter, also stating that they had "known for a few months and tried to make it work".
Due to a scheduling conflict related to filming of the The Four, DJ Khaled was not able to commit to perform at Wireless Festival. Although we have known for a few months and tried to make it work, it wasn’t possible.

Despite DJ Khaled pulling out, it left a space for someone bigger; someone who could merge the end of Giggs' "KMT" into some tracks from the most streamed album of the year.
It was none other than Drake who arrived at Finsbury Park to shutdown Wireless Festival. A short, but sweet 30-minute set provided a snapshot into his new album Scorpion, and saw the Canadian rapper own the London crowd.

His festival set was the first time performing tracks from Scorpion live.
A couple of people seemed to have clocked onto the surprise set after seeing some of his roadies in the VIP area wearing Scorpion t-shirts.

HIs short set might have been over too soon, but Drake still brought the bangers, debuting tracks "I'm Upset", "Nonstop", and "Nice For What".
The rapper also performed "God's Plan", "KMT" with Giggs and "Look Alive" for the jumping London crowd.
