Dizzy announce collaborations EP and link with Luna Li on first single "The Bird Behind The Drapes"
Dizzy have returned with news of their forthcoming collaborations EP Separate Places, and have revealed "The Bird Behind The Drapes" featuring Luna Li as the first single.
"The Bird Behind The Drapes" is Dizzy's first outing of 2021, and sees them collaborate with Luna Li. The track is a reimagined version of Dizzy's The Sun and Her Scorch album track "The Magician".
The Luna Li collaboration will appear on Dizzy's upcoming EP Separate Places, which will see the band rework tracks from their second album with guest vocalists that are yet to be revealed.
Dizzy singer Katie Munshaw says of the EP, "The Separate Places EP has allowed songs from The Sun and Her Scorch to go on tour without us. Following some of our favourite artists around the globe from Birmingham, London, New York and back to Toronto. Each song has been reimagined. "Primrose Hill" is now fiery and tough. "The Magician" and "Ten" returned to a state of naive, solemn bliss. "Beatrice" gains solace with felt piano and harmony and "Sunflower" sounds like something out of a Super Mario Brothers video game. It’s kind of a ride."
