Dizzee Rascal recruits Skepta for energetic new offering "Money Right" and announces new EP
Grime legends Dizzee Rascal and Skepta join forces for "Money Right", set to feature on Dizzee Rascal's forthcoming Don't Gas Me EP.
"Money Right" is the first offering from the grime legend since 2017's Raskit album.
Debuted on BBCR1 as Annie Mac's Hottest Record In the World last night (5 September), "Money Right" came about after the pair were working next door to each other in the same building. Speaking to Annie Mac, Dizzee Rascal explained, "And then he showed me some beats. He put on one and I was like "this is alright", and then he put this one on, the instrumental. I lost my mind".
As well as dropping the energetic new track, the grime legend also announced his forthcoming five-track EP Don't Gas Me.
Speaking to Julie Adenuga on her Apple Music Beats 1 show, he said, "It's five banging tracks that are all completely different".
His forthcoming EP is set to feature P Money, C Cane, and Afronaut Zu.
