Disclosure announce new record Caracal
Disclosure have tonight announced the release of their long-awaited second record, Caracal. It's the follow up to 2013's Settle.
The Lawrence brothers, Guy and Howard, are headlining the inaugural edition of their Wild Life festival tonight (7 June).
The announcement follows the release of singles "Bang That" and "Holding On" (feat. Gregory Porter).
Nao, Kwabs and Lion Babe are all confirmed as guest artists on the new record, and will be performing their new contributions with Disclosure during the duo's set at Wild Life tonight. Disclosure are also set to debut "Jaded", a new cut featuring Howard on vocal duties.
Speaking about the album and its title, Howard said: “A Caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year; I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity. It felt like a perfect fit for our Wild Life brand too, so the Caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.”
Caracal is released 25 September on PMR/Island.
The pair have also confirmed two new huge American shows: L.A. Memorial Sports Arena on 29 September and 24 October at Madison Square Garden.
