Dirty Projectors, The Shins & The National to play Aaron Dessner-curated festival

The first list of acts for this year’s Aaron Dessner co-curated Boston Calling festival has been announced.
Among the big names set to take part are Dirty Projectors, The Shins, Cults, The Walkmen, Andrew Bird and Marina and the Diamonds.
Also handpicked by the guitarist are Youth Lagoon, MS MR, Ra Ra Riot, Matt and Kim, plus more.
And, of course, The National (who are set to release a new album in May) will perform too.
Boston Calling 2013 takes place between 25-26 May at Boston’s City Hall Plaza. More info here.
