Dirty Projectors share new cut "Inner World"
Dirty Projectors are back with new track "Inner World", the second taster of their upcoming EP Flight Tower.
Flight Tower is the second out of five EP's that Dirty Projectors have scheduled for release this year. So far they've shared "Lose Your Love" from the second EP, and today they've unveiled new single "Inner World".
According to Stereogum, Dirty Projectors say of their new release, "Today we’re happy to share "Inner World", the next song from Flight Tower. We hope it can bring you serenity and solace during this tumultuous moment in history. The past few weeks have felt like an eternity, but now is not the time for silence or defeat. There’s always more to learn if you’re willing and that’s an incredible gift. Keep sharing information, asking questions, and using your eyes and your voice so we can work together towards a future that benefits everyone."
Their forthcoming EP will be their second of 2020, following on from March's Windows Open. The first EP was led by guitarist Maia Friedman, and Flight Tower sees keyboardist/percussionist Felicia Douglas take the lead role. Each EP will see a different band member take the lead on vocals, before uniting and swapping verses on the fifth EP.
