Dirty Beaches have split. Well, not literally as it's one guy and that'd be pretty horrific, but Montreal's Alex Zhang Hungtai has gone solo. Soloer.
All reports indicate that this is not the end of Hungtai's music creation days, but rather a reinvention (presumably he'll fly under the name 'Last Lizard'). His final record, Stateless, is due out next week (3 November).
