Dirty Beaches announces double album
Lo-fi musician Dirty Beaches has unveiled a brand new double album.
The twin release Drifters/Love Is The Devil will be released on 20 May (UK)/21 May (U.S).
The Taiwanese-born Canadian-based musician recently confirmed plans to follow up 2011 effort Badlands with a duo of releases during 2013.
The second record is expected to be a more instrumental offering, with both set to be released by San Diego imprint Zoo Music.
Listen to new track ‘Love Is The Devil’ now, below, with the artist saying the following of the latter album’s title-track:
“I’m leaking 1 track from love is the devil. I’ve never been good at business. But this is my heart & soul. I need to get this off my chest. This title track has blood & tears all over it and is the sound of my empty self. I need to share this before it becomes something else. we always hurt the ones we love the most. I’m a rotten piece of shit. blast it LOUD if your hearts broken.”
