Over the weekend Dinosaur Jr. played two socially distanced shows in the US, and used the opportunity to play two new tracks.
As Stereogum reports, J Mascis and co played two socially distanced gigs in Connecticut and New Hampshire over the weekend.
The tracks, titled "Long Time" and "Garden", are due to feature on Dinosaur Jr.'s forthcoming album that was recently mixed by John Agnello.
Prior to playing one of the new tracks, J Mascis told the audience, "We finished an album somehow during COVID times. I guess it won’t come out for a little while, but we’re gonna play a couple songs…"
Dinosaur Jr.'s new album will be their first since 2016's Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not. J Mascis released his last solo album Elastic Days in 2018.
