‘Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead’ from The Wizard Of Oz is rapidly climbing the UK charts following a protest campaign sparked by the death of Margaret Thatcher.
The track, performed by the cast of the 1939 film and only 56 seconds in length, has gone from tenth to fifth place since yesterday as sales continue to increase.
As well as this, it also currently sits at number two of the iTunes chart and number one in the Amazon MP3 chart.
Many musicians have spoken out in the past few days about the reign of the former Prime Minister, including Chumbawamba and Morrissey, twice.
Listen to ‘Ding Dong!’ below. Thatcher passed away on Monday (8 April), aged 87.
