Desperate Journalist announce eponymous debut record

North London quartet Desperate Journalist, who've drawn comparisons to Savages, The Smiths and Joy Division, are set to release their debut eponymous record at the end of the month.
Devoutly DIY, Desperate Journalist have mixed, produced (alongside Keith TOTP), recorded live, designed artwork for, and shot videos to support the album. They pride themselves on surreptitiously emulating influences and delivering bold statements via minimalist means. Dark, incisive and ambitious, Desperate Journalist set sail in unchartered waters, but they do so with fervour.
Desperate Journalist will be released 27 January via Minty Fresh.
