Deradoorian announces new LP with seven-minute lead track "Saturnine Night"
Deradoorian has announced her debut LP on ANTI- Records, Find The Sun, as well as unveiling the seven-minute lead single "Saturnine Night".
"Saturnine Night" is Deradoorian's first single since releasing her 2017 mini-album Eternal Recurrence.
The tracks that make up Find The Sun were conceptualised during a summer spent in the Rockaways with friend and percussionist Samer Ghadry. Deradoorian, Ghadry, and collaborator Dave Harrington took the tracks and finished them at California's Panoramic House studio.
Deradoorian says of the tracks, "Overall, a lot of these songs are about trying to reach yourself - how to be your most brilliant self, because we come from a culture that doesn't actually support this. We are so deeply programmed to obey societal boundaries that we don't even know the power we contain within."
