Depeche Mode announce new record Spirit
Electronic legends Depeche Mode have announced a brand new record and a massive world tour titled Global Spirit.
The group announced their new phase during a press conference in Milan, Italy - where they also played a sneak preview of their 14th studio album, Spirit.
The record has been produced by Simian Mobile Disco member James Ford (Foals, Jessie Ware), with Matrixxman adding synth programming. It was recorded between Santa Barbara and New York City.
Depeche Mode's tour will begin in May 2017 - the band will be playing 32 dates in 21 stadiums, with proceeds being donated to charity: water. Tickets will be on sale later this week.
This news follows the announcement of Depeche Mode's Video Singles Collection - a collection of music vids from their career.
The band's previous record, Delta Machine, was released in 2013 - though they did release a live CD/DVD back in 2014.
