Denise Welch confirms The 1975's Matty Healy is working on a solo project
Denise Welch, the mum of The 1975's Matty Healy, has revealed that her son is working on a new solo project.
British actor and TV personality Denise Welch has revealed that her son Matty Healy has been spending time working on a solo project.
The 1975 released their Notes On A Conditional Form album in April, and since then there hasn't been much information about what they're working on, other than Beabadoobee revealing that she plans to release an EP that includes songs written with Healy and George Daniel after her debut album.
In a recent interview with OK Magazine, Denise Welch was asked how Healy is, to which she replied, "Matthew is working on a solo project. I've got two boys in the entertainment industry. It's a nightmare but I'm proud of them both. I'm very lucky that my boys have both got good heads on their shoulders."
