Deerhoof have released a second single from their upcoming album Actually, You Can today (24 August) called "Plant Thief".
"Plant Thief" is the second taster of Deerhoof's forthcoming album, following last month's lead release "Department of Corrections", and lands with an animated video by Molly Fairhurst.
The band describe "Plant Thief" as a "rage rock song responding to a patriarchal world that leeches off of unpaid caring labour and matriarchal knowledge."
Actually, You Can - produced by the band themselves - will follow last year's Love-Lore covers album which was a sequel to Future Teenage Cave Artists.
"Plant Thief" is out now. Deerhoof's Actually, You Can album will land via Joyful Noise Recordings on 22 October, and is available to pre-order now.
