Ben Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie, Postal Service) recently covered Toronto indie-poppers Alvvays.
Gibbard performed a solo rendition of "Archie, Marry Me" at The Nepture Theatre in Seattle during a fundraising event supporting crowd-funding programme Power2Give/Puget Sound, which “awards regional arts projects with funds that fuel Seattle’s artistic community”. All the ticket proceeds went to the cause.
Check out the 15-second Instagram snippet below (hopefully someone plonks the full version online soon).
