It looks like Death Cab For Cutie are preparing to release new music - they've shared a 40-second trailer full of fresh noises.
The vid - titled "August 2018" - seems to hint at a new record coming this summer. They've already said that LP9 would arrive in 2018, so this has gotta be it... right? The album will be Death Cab's first without member Chris Walla, and first with new members Dave Depper and Zac Rae.
Although DCFC haven't released much since 2015's Kintsugi (just a pre-US election track), frontman Ben Gibbard has been a busy guy, covering Bandwagonesque by Teenage Fanclub and working with the Monkees.
One of our favourite Death Cab For Cutie songs turns 20 this year - find out which one (if you haven't already guessed).
