
Death Cab For Cutie announce new album, share first single "Gold Rush"
Death Cab For Cutie have finally revealed details of their ninth studio album Thank You For Today, as well as sharing "Gold Rush", the first single lifted from their forthcoming release.
Having teased fans over the past month with glimpses of new material on socials, Death Cab For Cutie have finally come clean with news of their forthcoming ninth album.
Named Thank You For Today, the forthcoming release was produced and mixed by Rich Costey (Fiona Apple, Franz Ferdinand, Muse).
"Gold Rush" is the first single to be released from the upcoming album, and sees the group project a more summer-ready sound.
In May, bassist Nick Harmer revealed to us that their new album was coming in August.
