Deap Vally return with fuzzy new single "Get Gone"
The lo-fi garage rock duo Deap Vally are back with another electrifying offering, "Get Gone".
The chaotic, fuzzy sound of the Deap Vally duo is back as Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards team up with director John Stavas to bring their latest video.
"Get Gone" sees Troy and Edwards do a simple studio performance with overriding static and constant colour changes and VHS style warps.
Deap Vally reveal "Get Gone" as their first release since last album Femejism, which arrived last year.
The track races through electrifying riffs in less than two minutes, and it turns out Troy and Edwards managed to record the track in a single day at a Venice Beach studio.
The LA-based duo have been busy working on future collaborations. Groups such as Savages, Warpaint, Flaming Lips, Peaches, KT Tunstall, Eagles of Death Metal, and Mini Mansions may appear on the singles Deap Vally plan to drop throughout the year.
