David Bowie to release three limited edition items for Record Store Day

David Bowie has revealed he’ll release both of his new album’s first two singles for Record Store Day 2013.

The latest of these, ‘The Stars (Are Out Tonight)’ will come out as a lead – backed by its predecessor ‘Where Are We Now?’ especially for the event.

Bowie will also release a 1965 four-track EP on vinyl and a ‘Drive-In Saturday’ picture disc.

It was announced yesterday that Jack White will be Record Store Day’s ‘Ambassador’ for 2013, following on from Iggy Pop and Ozzy Osbourne.

Record Store Day 2013 is on Saturday 20 April.
