David Bowie to collaborate on musical inspired by The Man Who Fell to Earth

The New York Theatre Workshop has announced that work been undertaken on upcoming music production Lazarus will feature new arrangements of Bowie classics, as well as new material from the man himself.

Having starred in the 1976 film adaptation of The Man Who Fell To Earth, Bowie is no stranger the roles. However, this time around he's staying firmly behind the scenes, writing new music for the production alongside Irish playwright Enda Walsh.

Directed by Ivo van Hove, Lazarus is expected to make its premiere in New York this winter.
