David Bowie’s comeback record, The Next Day is looking set to reach top spot in the UK Album Charts.
Midweek figures show a large lead over all other competitors, including Bon Jovi, with Bowie close to bagging his first UK #1 record in almost 20 years.
The Next Day was released on Monday (11 March), selling more than 50,000 copies on the first day.
If successful, it’ll be the singer’s first number one album since 1993′s Black Tie White Noise.
