Daughter air their clip for "How", finishing their Not To Disappear film trilogy
Daughter have revealed their new video got Not To Disappear track "How", which rounds off their emotional film trilogy.
"How" follows "Numbers" and "Doing The Right Thing". All three parts have been directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard (directors of the Nick Cave film 20,000 Days On Earth).
Speaking about the trilogy, they say: "We love this band and have worked with them since their first video. From their early demos coming out of the studio it was obvious they were setting the bar exceptionally high with the new album. So we wanted to take an ambitious approach to the videos, starting by commissioning three short stories by one of our favourite emerging authors, Stuart Evers. Then we adapted these into a trilogy of interwoven films, all shot on the Kent coast in one shoot. A different actor leads each one: Richard Syms, Natasha O'Keefe, and Marama Corlett. Plus there's some sly references to Daughter's past for the eagle-eyed."
Yesterday Daughter announced their biggest headline show in London yet, taking place on 27 October at O2 Brixton Academy.
Last month the trio released their acclaimed second record Not To Disappear.
