Danny Elfman reunites with Trent Reznor on new version of "Native Intelligence"
Danny Elfman has reunited with Trent Reznor for a new version of his Big Mess track "Native Intelligence".
Elfman and Reznor first teamed up on a new version of Big Mess track "True" last year, and today (21 March) a second collaboration has been released.
For their second track together, Elfman and Reznor have reimagined another Big Mess track titled "Native Intelligence", which sees Reznor on lead vocals.
Elfman's Big Mess album arrived in June last year, and marked Elfman's first solo album in 37 years.
The new versions of "True" and "Native Intelligence" will feature on the collector’s edition box set of Big Mess, which will feature the 18 original songs from the record as well as bonus discs featuring unreleased reinterpretations and remixes. The box set will also come with a 60-page artbook featuring previously unseen renderings of Sarah Sitkin's digital sculptures of Elfman, as well as a 20-page lyric book with rare photos and more.
