Danny Brown has collaborated on two tracks with The Avalanches
You may recall word surfacing about a possible Danny Brown and The Avalanches collaboration back in 2012. Well, now it appears that they recorded two new tracks together.
The songs in question are thought to appear on the Aussie band’s long-awaited follow-up to 2001’s Since I Left You. One of the tracks is known to be called “Frank Sinatra”, while the other - while unnamed - seems to be the collab Brown is most excited about.
“‘Frank Sinatra’ was the first one we did. That was cool but the one we did after that… I swear, if we put that out, it’ll change the world. I heard it that first night and that was the only time I heard it. I wanna hear it again!” Brown recently told Triple J.
Meanwhile, the rapper has also confirmed he’s recently teamed up with both Phantogram and The Neighbourhood, with a Matmos collab also planned. Until those see the light of day, check out Brown’s recent track with Rustie here.
