Danny Brown denied entry into Canada, vows to never play the country again
Detroit rapper, Danny Brown was supposed to head to Canada for a series of live dates in support of his upcoming album Old. However, due to past convictions, the hip-hop star was refused entry.
Taking to Twitter, Brown has stated that he was denied access to perform in the country when trying to enter Calgary, despite doing “all this paperwork” and paying “all this money”.
Even if the decision is in his hands in the future, Brown says that he’s given up hope of playing Canada. “That’s a wrap on Canada,” he continued. “My past continues to haunt me.”
Check out the full series of tweets beneath. Old drops on 30 September.
