Daniel Romano previews upcoming LP Mosey with grand rock'n'roll ode "Valerie Leon"
Daniel Romano has detailed new LP Mosey and revealed a fresh taste titled "Valerie Leon".
It's a galloping heart-melter with '60s dust, brassy accents and big swooning strings, honky tonk keys and snarling psych riffs - Romano glues together a bunch of musical tidbits and creates one of the most epic, ambitious rock'n'roll tracks of 2016.
Romano has also detailed a new UK tour for May, which includes a London headline date at The Lexington, presented by us at Best Fit.
Mosey is released May 27 via New West. It follows last year's If I've Only One Time Askin'.
Have a listen to "Valerie Leon" below. The tracklist and Romano's upcoming UK dates are after.
