Daniel Knox announces new LP with lead track "Fool In The Heart"
Daniel Knox is back with news of his forthcoming album Won't You Take Me With You, and has shared "Fool In The Heart" as the lead release from the LP.
"Fool In The Heart" is Knox's first new outing since releasing his You Are My Friend: The Songs of Mister Rogers LP in June, and will mark his first studio album since 2018's Chasescene.
Won't You Take Me With You's songs take place at different locations, including a Chicago alleyway, Washington Park, a run-down shopping centre, a hotel in Knoxville, Tennessee, and the highway.
Knox says of the new album, "Every song on Won’t You Take Me With You has a trap door that leads to one or more other songs on the record. I wanted the songs to stand apart but still hold hands. It was important to me that these songs all know each other, but not necessarily live in the same time and place."
