Daniel Blumberg's debut feature film score for The World To Come to get physical release in January
Daniel Blumberg's score for The World To Come is set to get a physical release in January 2022 via Mute.
The World To Come, directed by Mona Fastvold and starring Katherine Waterston, Casey Affleck, Vanessa Kirby, and Daniel Blumberg (as Tinker), was released in the US back in February and in the UK in July, and today (19 October) the physical editions of Blumberg's accompanying score have been announced.
The soundtrack marked Blumberg's debut feature film score, and in January next year, it'll be available on vinyl and CD for the first time.
Speaking about the score, Blumberg said, "It was a huge challenge to retain the unique qualities of improvised music within the structure of cinema, but that friction is something that excited me about working in this context."
