Danger Mouse shares collaboration with Sparklehorse’s Mark Linkous and MF DOOM "Ninjarous"
Danger Mouse has released a previously unheard collaboration with Sparklehorse's Mark Linkous and MF DOOM titled "Ninjarous".
As well as featuring the late Mark Linkous and MF DOOM, "Ninjarous" also sees The Black Keys' Patrick Carney on drums.
Linkous died in 2010. The year before his death, Danger Mouse and Linkous recorded a collaborative album together titled Dark Night Of The Soul, released officially in 2010, three months after Linkous' death.
Speaking about the collaboration released today, Danger Mouse, aka Brian Burton, says, "Mark and I worked on a lot of music together. But the song we did with MF DOOM was always one of Mark’s favorites. He’d kept on me to put out, so I’m happy to pay tribute to him by getting it out there."
The newly-released collaboration will feature on Danger Mouse's forthcoming compilation album, 30th Century Volume 2.
