Dana Gavanski shares new track "Small Favours"
Dana Gavanski has shared her new single "Small Favours", a fifth taster of her forthcoming debut LP Yesterday Is Gone.
"Small Favours" lands after earlier tracks "Yesterday Is Gone", "Good Instead of Bad", "Catch", and "One By One".
Gavanski says of the new offering, ""Small Favours" expresses a cheekiness. A playful dismissal of heaviness and getting bogged down by emotions, acknowledging how things may seem small when they’re big and big when they’re small."
Yesterday Is Gone is co-produced by Gavanski, Toronto-based musician Sam Gleason, and Mike Lindsay of Tunng and LUMP.
According to Gavanski, Gleason helped her form the songs, while Lindsay's input marked "the beginning of developing a sound that was closer to what I had in my head."
