Damien Jurado has announced new record The Horizon Just Laughed and shared the magnificent first taste, "Over Rainbows And Ranier".
Jordan Halland directs the tender track's accompanying visuals, which soar across beautiful landscapes and along claustrophobic forest roads.
The album is Jurado's first self-produced offering and is described as somehow "more personal" than his Maraqopa trilogy. The songs were recorded with Alex Bush in Sonikwire Studio in two sessions last year.
Jurado has a long list of live dates planned for the rest of the year, including a few dates in UK this month and a stop at End Of The Road Festival in the summer. Find out the full details.
The Horizon Just Laughed is released 4 May via Secretly Canadian.
