The BRIT Awards have today unveiled the Damien Hirst-designed trophy statue for this year’s ceremony.
It’s the first time that the artist has had the honour, following on from Sir Peter Blake’s design in 2012, and Vivienne Westwood’s in 2011.
You can check out the rather outlandish design below.
The Awards will be held on Wednesday 20 February 2013 at London’s O2 Arena, with James Corden hosting the night for the third year running.
There’ll also be a special Nominations Launch evening, set to take place at The Savoy tonight (10 January) – hosted by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and featuring live performances from Jessie Ware and Tom Odell.
