Dama Scout return with first single in more than three years "dan dan bub"
London/Glasgow trio Dama Scout are back with "dan dan bub", their first new single in more than three years.
"dan dan bub" follows the three-piece's 2018 single "Milky Milk", and arrives with a video directed by the band.
Dama Scout say of their latest release, ""dan dan bub" is the raw tingling of a first trip outside after turning inside out. It's a drift down a river of hands, high fives and punches to the face, flipping you upside down like a woodlouse in a frying pan. It's an itch that scratches itself. The video is like an interview with a self-portrait. It turns the gaze inwards exposing brittle foundations, and as the ideal-self rots away a bulbous overlord leads us in a mesmeric ritual dance."
The band are yet to follow up their self-titled 2017 EP.
