East London nightlife staple, Efes Snooker Club has had its license revoked by Hackney council.
According to the Rio Cross Residents Association, which represents residents of the Rio Cross area of Dalston, the bar has had its alcohol license taken away due to “poor management” and “public nuisance”.
Efes, which has served as a gig venue in the past and regularly hosts club nights, will be able to continue running as a normal snooker hall.
The news follows the announcement that Brick Lane venue 93 Feet East is set to close.
